Team Liquid wins the spring split and claims the first ever title for Team Liquid in League of Legends.

Finishing the series 3-0, Team Liquid defeated the 1^st place team in the regular season, 100 Thieves. With game 1 going into 100 Thieves’ favor in the early parts of the game, Team Liquid performs a convincing comeback with Xmithie stealing the Baron to secure the game. The second game was a 50-50 up until Pobelter performed one of the best highlight worthy plays of the split by landing a 4 man Azir ulti. The last and final game was the closest. With 100 Thieves gaining substantial leads in the topside, all seemed to go 100 Thieves’ way. However, it was not enough to offset Team Liquid. By making plays on the stronger side of the map, Team Liquid was able to snowball their leads from bottom lane throughout the whole map.

Breaking records from the first support to grab an MVP title to Team Liquid winning their first ever split, the 2018 Spring Split was and is split to remember.
