KT Rolster's toplaner, Smeb, apologized for using an account that didn't belong to him.

On the 19th of March, through his own personal SNS, Smeb revealed that he's used another player's account from 2014 to 2016. He stated that he'll pay for his wrongdoing and accept whatever punishment that comes his way. He also added that there was no money involved.

The team Smeb is affiliated with, KT Rolster also shed some light on the situation. Through the team's official SNS, KT posted that "whatever the reason might be, a person who uses another's account is going to always be 100% at fault," and KT also mentioned that they will accept any punishment for Smeb's actions. Lastly, KT mentioned that an internal disciplinary action will be taken -- Smeb will be given 20 hours of community service.

On the other hand, an official response from Riot Games is yet to be heard.
