Monster Hunter: World is having another collaboration soon. Capcom has revealed a collaboration with Capcom’s well-acclaimed action game franchise Devil May Cry via its official social media page.
The collaboration is in celebration of the release of the Devil May Cry HD Collection on March 13th. Dante, the protagonist of the Devil May Cry series, will be coming to MHW. Like the previous collaborative events with Horizon Zero Dawn and Street Fighter, it is very likely that armor and weapons that will change your character to have Dante’s appearance will be obtainable through event quests.
The Force Edge and Alastor will be added as Charge Blades. The collaboration Charge Blade will be the Force Edge in Sword and Shield mode, and will transform to Alastor when in Axe mode.
Along with the weapons, a special Gesture that uses a gun will also be added. In the previous collaboration events, the Gestures Shoryuken and Hadoken could be purchased in game. The exact date and the details of the collaborative quests have not been announced yet.
The Devil May Cry HD Collection, which will be released on March 13th, is a remastered version of the Devil May Cry HD Collection for PS3 and XBOX 360 which came out in 2012. The 2018 version will support a larger resolution and framerate, and will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3.
