Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun expressed his determination on developing his performance.

On the 28th of Febraury, bbq Olivers defeated Jin Air Green Wings 2-0 in the 2018 LCK Spring Split. Ghost played well and delivered good performance compared to his recent slump. Especially, he played Xayah well in game 2 and contributed to the team victory.

The following is the interview with bbq Olivers ADC, Ghost.

Q. You won, how do you feel?

I feel a lot better because it’s been a while since I’ve played well.

Q. We wonder why you were in a slump.

My performance was bad in all ways. There were matches that we could have won, but lost because of my poor performance. I lost a lot of confidence after that, I became coward-like whenever I played.

Q. You really performed well in such a long time.

I wish I can maintain this performance of today in the following games. (Laughs)

Q. What did you consider the most before playing against Teddy?

I knew that Teddy is really good. I just concentrated on improving my play because I thought that all ADCs in LCK are good.

Q. It seems that you make a lot of shotcalls.

We all talked about which lane to concentrate on, and where to fight. It wasn’t only me, but today, everybody made calls very often. I think everybody should be exhausted by now. (Laughs)

Q. The end of game 1 was really close.

Tempt suggested a backdoor by using Teleport. He asked us to stop the opponents from recalling, but Kha’Zix succeeded to recall. It seemed that we would lose after the two players that went backdoor killed. Luckily, the opponents came into the twin towers. If Varus has Guinsoo and stacks, he’s one of the strongest champions against tanks. I had stacks on each of those champions in advance. I was able to deal enough damage while our front line was surviving.

Q. The next match is against ROX Tigers. How do you think it will go?

We had a lot of close matches with them, but lost. Since all my teammates are doing well, if I do well, we’ll be able to win.

Q. Do you have any last comments?

I’m thankful to Continue10, bbq and Maxtill. Bbq looks after us well. Yesterday was Bono’s birthday. We told him that we’ll win as his birthday present, and we really won. I want to tell him happy birthday again.
