Your biggest achievement since joining UoL. How are you feeling?
Well, it's my first time winning a tournament, so it still feels surreal. I think this will start making more sense in my head when I wake up tomorrow and start surfing online communities.
Today's series seemed to be more about brawling and less about rotations.
Our players have an aggressive playstyle in general. We go for a fight and try to benefit from it whenever we spot a chance, before thinking about whether we will win or lose. I suppose the Flash Wolves were also eager to fight, which is why the games turned out like they did.
Anything you regret about today's match?
I made a mistake in Game 5. I pushed recklessly for Dragon even though I knew there was an enemy ward in the area. That was the moment I got the most salty at myself.
There were many pauses during the match today. What was happening on stage?
There were numerous technical problems. Our voice chat didn't work sometimes, and there were times when random noise or even enemy team comms came along when we spoke. There were also minor issues with keyboards and mice. All that led to frequent pauses.
How is your team's atmosphere and your everyday life?
UoL feels like my second family. Everyone is so friendly. The environment is nice for intense gaming, and I think I am in good circumstances considering the fact that I am far from home. I find my teammates more friendly compared to when I was in NA, and I really appreciate that.
Who was the guy inside the Unicorn costume?
That was our team manager. He is a very positive and energetic person, so he always cheers for us and empowers us. He did a really good job today, just as usual [laughs].
Any last words to your fans?
We are really happy about our achievement at IEM, but part of it was due to luck. We will practice harder and keep up the good work.
