The Mystic Awakening Update in Black Desert Online (BDO) has been confirmed for January 3 (PST). The Mystic’s Awakened Weapon is a cestus with heavier and larger equipment layered on top of the gauntlets upon being equipped.

Unlike the Striker who uses Echo Spirit, the Mystic summons a cobalt dragon in combat after the Awakening, dealing powerful AoE damage in a wider area than her gauntlets. There is a new skill similar to Wave Orb that bursts after a few moments of charging, and a few gauntlet skills such as Flow: Mass Destruction will also be usable with the cestus.
