The last member of the LCK All-Star team was Kang “GorillA” Beom-hyun, who will be responsible for the bottom lane with PraY. Amongst all the bustle, true to form as a support player, he was helping out the other members. We were able to talk to this helpful guy.


Q. This is your first All-Star. Did PraY give you any advice?

A. The All-Stars now feels like a match with national pride on the line, and I’m fighting as a representative of Korea. PraY told me the All-Stars before was for fun, but this year seems more important. So I’m concentrating on doing my best.


Q. GorillA is known for his attention to detail. Did you bring any special items for the far away journey?

A. The only special thing I would say I brought are some mask packs. I don’t know if I will be able to give any to the others, since we have our own rooms. But if anybody wants one, I’ll be more than happy to share them. (Laughs)


Q. What type of mask packs do you use? (Laughs)

A. I use ‘aqua calming’. (Laughs)


Q. It’s a tight schedule, but is there anything you want to do with the All-Star team?

A. I think the only thing I really want to do is practice. All team colors are different and so are each player’s styles. I want to absorb all the strengths that the others have by practicing with them.


Q. Many different style supports are now appearing, after the new rune patch. What kind of support do you want to try at the All-Stars?

A. The attacking support is actually the most fun, but it’s difficult to use in competitions, since you have to be wary of ganks. That’s more for a solo rank match. I think I’ll be picking melee supports like at the KeSPA cup, which had mostly melee supports.


Q. Finally, please say something to the fans who are supporting the LCK All-Star team.

A. Thank you for giving me the chance to compete in the All-Stars. CuVee, Ambition, Faker, PraY, and I will do our best to get good results. Thank you.
