On Nov 30th, the “Absolute” rank for the Dark Knight’s main skills were added in Black Desert Online KR. The Dark Knight has a total of 21 Absolute skills, and players must have the highest rank of a skill in order to learn the Absolute rank of that skill. The Absolute skills have the same base mechanism, but can deal much more damage and have a higher number of hits.
PvP damage for Absolute: Obsidian Ashes and Absolute: Wheel of Fortune was nerfed on the next day. The damage for Absolute: Obsidian Ashes has decreased 20.05%, and the damage for Absolute: Wheel of Fortune has decreased 18.1%. Below are KR players’ comments on the new Absolute skills for the Dark Knight, including the comments after the nerf on Dec 1st.
◆ KR Players' comments on the new Absolute Skills
▷ Absolute: Wheel of Fortune can deal massive damage.
▷ PvP is going to be fun.
▷ Like other Absolute skills, no SA/FG. But the damage is as powerful as that of Awakening skills.
▷ Damage output definitely increased, so it’s much easier to grind in lower level grind spots.
▷ The skills are good. Although they have smaller AoE compared to Awakening skills, the damage output will greatly increase if you use the Absolute skills while Awakening skills are on cooldown.
▷ Absolute: Nocturne is really good, but Absolute: Unveiled Dagger is so weak. Absolute: Air Strike is worse than I expected, and Absolute: Enforcement is a good skill to end a combo. Lastly, Absolute: Kamasylvia Slash is very disappointing.
◆ Comments after the nerf on Absolute: Obsidian Ashes and Absolute: Wheel of Fortune (PvP only)
▷ I saw this coming. This isn’t the first time they did this.
▷ Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think the nerf is that significant. The skills are still viable.
▷ I really liked the skill distance of Absolute: Obsidian Ashes, but it’s gone now.
▷ We don’t really use Obsidian Ashes that often because the skill’s animation delay is too long, so the nerf won’t hurt.
▷ Although the skill’s PvP damage is nerfed, you should get Absolute: Wheel of Fortune anyway.

the damage for Absolute: Wheel of Fortune has increased 18.1% <--- is that wrong description ? should be a nerf according to the whole article
