Your first victory in APEX. How does it feel?
Everyone put in a lot of effort to figure out the new meta, with relegation being on the line and all. We woke up earlier than usual today to prepare for the match.
The team has greatly improved. Were any large changes made after losing twice?
Everyone worked harder than before. We were too tense and uncoordinated in our previous games due to it being our first time playing in a LAN. It took some time for us to loosen up and enjoy playing on stage.
I imagine LW Blue and REUNITED helped you practice?
Not LW Blue. A bit with REUNITED, but that was before the patch. Our [last minute] practice against Uncia helped us most.
How difficult was it to prepare for an entirely new patch?
We did panic quite a bit. As soon as we got up, we headed straight to our practice room and started discussing the new patch. We did conclude that it would work in our favor, though, and played with confidence on stage.
Your Pharah play today was great. Do you think she can return to her former glory?
I think we will be seeing a lot of Phamercy, but it will be important to flexibly swap out when an enemy Soldier: 76 poses too much of a problem.
What was the thought process behind making Rascal play a Genji mirror against Haksal?
We know how good Rascal is, so trusted him to do well. He delivered.
Any last words?
We'll soon be flying out to England for the MSI tournament - please cheer for us. Best of luck to our sister team KongDoo Uncia for their upcoming APEX quarterfinal match.
