Only 3 matches are left until the 2017 League of Legends World Championship is over, and fans are anxious to see the matchups for the semifinals. On Oct 28th (Sat), SKT T1, the defending champion of League of Legends Worlds, and Royal Never Give Up, the team with the best AD Carry, will be playing against each other to make it to the finals.
Just like the quarterfinals, the semifinals will have Bo5 single-elimination matches. One loss, and the team will be eliminated from this year’s Worlds. All teams will give their best in the semifinals. Will Team RNG defeat SKT T1 with the ace player Uzi’s fierce attacks? Or, will SKT T1 once again move on to the finals?
To provide you with more fun while watching the semifinals of Worlds 2017, Inven Global has prepared a special event for everyone. Guess which team is going to win the first match of the semifinals, and leave a comment cheering for the team of your choice. We will send $10-worth of League of Legends RP as a prize to randomly selected participants!
■ How to participate in the SKT vs RNG Semifinal Guess-the-Winner Event
Choose the team you think will win in the semifinals, match 1 which will be held on Oct 28th (Sat). Then, leave a comment cheering for the team and the team members.
When you are writing a comment, 1) click on the team (SKT or RNG) that you think will win, 2) write a supportful message in the blank below, and 3) click “Post” to submit your comment. You will be participating in the event automatically as soon as you leave a comment, so don’t hesitate to participate in the event!
Among the comments posted before the start of the match, we will randomly select 5 people who correctly guess the winner and 5 people who left a supporting comment and will send 1380 RP to each person.
Event Duration: Oct 24th (Tue) - Oct 28th 00:30 AM (Sat) (before the match begins)
Event Prize: One 1380 RP Card (for 5 people who guessed the winner, and 5 people who left a supporting comment; 10 people in total)

S5 Worlds was my first introduction to eSports and SKT as a whole, I loved it! Over the course thanks to SKT, I improved a lot as a player and learned which strategies are important, how teams play around vision, which objectives need priority because SKT did it all perfectly. On top of that, they aren't just "gifted" - every single one of them works so hard to achieve what they have today. Hence, that's why I think SKT will win! #SKTwin

Despite all the difficulties faced by SKT this year, they have always been able to make a comeback when all hope seemed lost. I've watched most of their games since season 3 and I know they will somehow make it. They're not called the best team for no reason! GO SKT!!!!

Even if this year SKT have appeared less spectacular and have risked losing, they have always made it. Because I'm convinced they are the best. LoL is not just mechanical and accumulation of advantage, but it is mainly based on team strategy and on this they are unbeatable

I know a lot of people want to see someone beat SKT, but I think people fail to see how hard it is to stay at the top once you are there. That is why I have respect for skt, they’re ambitious and don’t get lazy.

RNG is very aggresive especially Uzi. Skt is quite unstable in every precious match. They always let the enemy team surpass them in early game and try to come back through a single teamfight. Skt wins that teamfight because of the mistakes made by enemy but i dont think that Rng will make any mistake. Thus RNG will win the match if they play carefully. -

I believe SKT will win. SKT may have slumped the previous games; however, I believe they will be able to get back to top form. RNG is a very strong team, many individual mechanics, but I believe the main reason why they beat FNC was because of FNC's mistakes and FNC was weaker overall during the laning phase. SKT is strong in all lanes. Bang and Wolf have been criticised a lot, newer league fans probably think they are bad bot. But they are actually one of the best bot lanes in the world. Last year and the year before bang and wolf carried SKT in many of their games. Bang was a crucial factor in MSI and WORLDS. He also had an very impressive kda more than 70. This is why I believe SKT will win because I think they can get to top form my fixing their own issues. P.S they have faker

I believe RNG will manage to upset SKT. In group stage Mlxg said that they have a bunch of secret picks lined up and only thing that we've seen other than the norm would be the Lee Sin and Soraka. I think that they are going to surprise SKT with a strat that hasnt been seen this tournament and that they wont be able to adapt in time to come back from the deficit.
