On the first game of the 'Group A' Stage matches, 'ahq' has defeated 'SK Telecom T1'. AHQ secured the lead from the very beginning of the match, and once they started snowballing, SKT was granted no opening for a potential comeback. 

Mountain's Sejuani undoubtedly had the biggest impact during the match, but the player that everyone had their eyes on, was Westdoor's Fizz. Up against Faker's Kassadin, Westdoor held his own, and together with Mountain, he successfully pressured and fell the famed Faker. 

The following is an interview done between Sjokz and Westdoor.

You have defeated SKT! How will the rest of the day go for you guys? What are your chances of getting out of groups?

We knew that coming into today's games, SKT would be a hard opponent. But we actually focused more on our game against C9, which is our last game of the day. We're still very happy that we were able to beat SKT.


Did you just think it was okay to blind-pick Fizz?

My teammates trusted me that I would be good on Fizz. I wasn't sure myself, but my teammates really trusted me, so we went through with the pick.
