Bontaek ‘Expession’ Gu, who was the top laner of ‘Longzhu gaming', announced his retirement after five years of LoL pro gamer career.
On September 17th, ‘Expession’ wrote in his SNS account, "I think it has been really fun for five years, and I wanted to play it better, but I could not.".
He has been a top laner for 'Najin White Shield' and 'Najin Black Sword' since his debut in 2012. During his pro gamer career, his team won two NLB League (Spring, Summer 2013). And he moved to Longzhu-IM (the forerunner of Longzhu Gaming) in June 2015. Since that time, he has been a top laner for Longzhu Gaming until the 2017 LCK spring split.
'Expession' showed an incredibly powerful lane fight during his prime time, and 'CloudTempler' commented on him as 'Lu Bu - Ancient Chinese General'. Also, the jungler 'Helios' said "Expession is strong during his golden age, so the scream was not well established".
'Expession' began his professional life in May 2012, joining Najin White Shield. His last career, in Longzhu Gaming, continued until May 2017. It was exactly five years.
