The semifinals and grand finals of the 2016 WCS Global Finals were played today. In the semifinals, Elazer fell to Dark 3-0, while ByuN pulled himself above Stats 3-1. There were no upsets.

The grand finals featured one of 2016's best series, with ByuN taking the tournament home witha 4-2 victory. Deserving of particular mention was Dark's determined back-against-the-wall comeback in Game 5.
