You may recall that when Doomfist was first released, he had tons of mobility options. It was fun while it lasted, but these types of maneuvers were promptly nerfed for the live release. Currently, Doomfist mostly relies on flanks and surprising enemies at choke-points or doorways to get a lot of value.
However, Dante "Danteh" Cruz employs this particularly aerial Doomfist with great success. Danteh is a flex player for Arc6 that is most known for his Tracer play, but like most flex players, he has started to take Doomfist seriously. During a competitive match on his stream recently, he pulled off this stylish Doomfist maneuver on Hollywood that beautifully pressured his opponents back line and allowed his team to capture the point easily.
It's a low-risk trick (even Danteh messes it up the first time) that conveniently places Doomfist in the most popular place for low HP heroes. Widowmaker, Zenyatta, Ana and Soldier: 76 all love this balcony and, as seen in the clip, Doomfist slamming in their faces is a perfect way to disrupt their high ground advantage.
If you thought this trick was cool, check out more Doomfist gameplay on Danteh's stream. Doomfist continues to be a popular pick in competitive Overwatch, so if you have high hopes for the new season and still haven't started familiarized your self with Doomfist's play style, now is a good time to start.
