Evo, the fighting game tournament series, has announced Evo Brazil, which will run from March 26th to 28th 2027 at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
"A new chapter of the Brazilian FGC begins now," Evo wrote on X (formerly Twitter), using the common shorthand for the fighting game community. The event's official site describes it as the biggest fighting game event on the planet finally arriving in Brazil, and lists a total prize pool of R$1,000,000.
Evo Brazil lineup and tickets
Eight games make up the main lineup. They are Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, Guilty Gear -Strive-, The King of Fighters XV, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game.
Tickets went on sale with the announcement. According to the official site, the early batch runs from October 27th to December 28th, with a one-day pass priced at R$240 and a three-day pass at R$650. Half-price and 'solidária' (charity) tiers are also offered.
Prices then rise in two steps. A regular batch from December 29th to February 12th costs R$290 for one day or R$780 for all three, and a final batch running to March 5th costs R$340 or R$920.
Anyone who wants to compete needs both an event pass and a separate tournament entry, which costs R$50 per game. The site gives the example of a player entering Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, who would pay R$100 in entry fees on top of their ticket.
What's next for Evo Brazil
Evo has not yet shared a full schedule, stream details or any side events beyond the main lineup. The official site carries a rulebook link alongside the game list, and registration for the tournaments is open now through evobrazil.gg.
