'LCK Operations Committee', composed of Riot Games Korea and the Korea e-Sports Association, revealed that they are currently discussing whether to take action on Bang's controversial comment that he made regarding salary.
Back in February, Bang made a controversial comment after a viewer asked Bang to work harder on his stream while mentioning how Faker received a donation of one million Korean Won. He said: "My salary would be higher than a hundred people like you put together... You should speak for yourself and work harder." While the comment wasn't discussed much back then, it resurfaced on July and became a huge controversy in Korean League communities.
As the controversy ensued, Bang apologized on air after his match against Ever8 Winners on July 26th, where he said: "I recently said something very wrong that hurt many people. It was something that I shouldn't have said as a professional League player... it made a lot of people disappointed in me. I'm ashamed that I didn't know this earlier, and I'm really reflecting upon myself for what I've done wrong and I'll continue to do that for a long time. Since I'm a pro player, I'll try to repay my fans with better performance and make amends for what I've done. I'm very sorry."
As a follow-up to this situation, a committee official from LCK Operations Committee stated that they are discussing whether to take action from Bang's comment. "We are aware of what Bang said in his Twitch stream, and we are currently discussing whether there's a possibility of taking additional course of action."

WTF is this for real?.... it wasn't an issue before and now just because they're having a couple of bad games they're making a big deal out of it? this doesn't help players at all :( i'm not saying what he said was right but he was provoked. he's only human and he already said he was sorry. What more do you want people?
