The first teaser for “The Phenom”, chronicling Brazil’s soccer legend Ronaldo and SKT T1 Faker was released on OGN’s official YouTube channel. The video starts out with Ronaldo’s history and fades out as Faker slowly lifts his head to gaze into the screen. Ronaldo has shown a substantial interest in esports by buying into 50% of the Brazilian esports team, CNB and promised the team he will send them to Korea for training if they win the pro league in Brazil.

Ronaldo also made a guest appearance on the closing ceremony of the MSI 2017 to congratulate the champions and met with the members of SKT T1. At the time, he briefly shook hands with Faker, whose encounter spread like wildfire in various communities.

There are no specifics on what “The Phenom” will be about, but it’s hinted to be a documentary format depicting the parallel between the two players and their lives as sports icons. Full release date has not been announced. Judging from “first teaser” in the video’s title, a second teaser centered around Faker looks to logically follow.

One YouTube comment on the teaser jokingly says, “Ronaldo has finally made it. He got to meet Faker,” while another person remarks, “Seeing the two legends come together gives me chills.” Yet, another commenter exclaims, “Man, who knew gaming would come this far.
