Each team plays the game while focusing on acquiring points in the Titan Ruins. Not only is it important to destroy the Titan Core, but the amount of accumulated points also determines the result of the game. Points are acquired by killing enemy Masters, units, and neutral monsters. It naturally comes down to having a battle for obtaining points, and teams frequently have intense fights over the neutral monsters in the beginning of the game.
Detailed management is required when Titans appear on the battlefield. Battles between Titans in the middle lane are intense, and each team must work to make the most out of it. Titans provide various buffs such as increased AP, movement speed, and HP recovery, making it much easier to attack Guardian Towers. The neutral monsters Adaman and Ruark are also considered key elements for4 summoning Titans.
The core of late game is Kahzor. This monster provides 100 points when slain, allowing one team to summon a Titan instantly. Moreover, it reduces the AP and DP of the enemy Guardian Towers by 30%. The most important attribute of the battle is the Titan Incarnate, which can turn the tide of the battle even when you are not well-geared.
Each team firstly tries to capture the Titan’s Sight when the game begins. The Titan’s Sight is an objective that grants vision around it for 5 minutes when captured. There is one in the bottom, two in the middle, and one in the top lane. The closest ones are in the middle, bottom, and then top in that order.
Teams then divide their team members to secure the middle and bottom lanes. There are two Titan’s Sights located near the ally team base and the enemy team base. Priority should be given to the one near the ally team base and if you have an opportunity you can go for the one on the enemy side. However, it is safer to secure the ally Titan’s Sight when the enemy team actively protects their’s.
The bottom Titan’s Sight is a must-have. It is close to the ally team base, and having vision around that area is crucial for keeping track of the Altar, which is used for summoning. The top Titan’s Sight is a bit more difficult to capture as it is located near the enemy team base, and teams generally divide up to get the two objectives..
When captured, the Titan’s Sights detect nearby enemy Masters, and players can actively engage if the number of enemy Masters is not too great. Otherwise, it is recommended to secure the vision only and level up around the Guardian Tower.
After securing vision, players start managing the lanes and slaying units and neutral monsters. Players should also try to take down Guardian Towers at the same time. However, it is best to keep your position when there are too many Masters or if their locations are unknown.
The Guardian is the first neutral monster summoned in the game, followed by the Keeper and Warden simultaneously. Although it is most common for a jungler in the team to hunt neutral monsters, it is okay for other Masters to hunt them depending on circumstances. For example, the nearest Master should attempt killing the neutral monster when the ally jungler is too far from it.
It is safe to hunt down neutral monsters in your own jungle first. It would be very difficult to support someone who enters the enemy area, and anyone who does so will likely be taken down by the enemy Masters. When you cannot expect support from the team, it is best to have a safe route instead of taking a risky journey into the enemy jungle.
In the beginning, the most crucial objectives are the Altars. Adaman and Ruark are summoned from these locations, and have a big influence on the flow of battle. The Altars are located at 5 o’clock and 11 o’clock on the map. They are activated 2 minutes into the game, and can be captured after slaying the Altar Watchers. When an Altar is captured, its corresponding monster will be summoned and will support the team.
Adaman and Ruark march towards the enemy base along the closest lane. For example, the one summoned at the Altar at 5 o’clock will march along the bottom lane.
Both have almost 20000 HP and also provide a barrier or HP recovery to nearby ally Masters. Note that leaving them marching alone is quite risky, as the enemy team can kill them without much difficulty and acquire points. Thus, it is best to leave only a few Masters for defense and have the rest go with the monster so that they can claim objectives such as Guardian Towers.
Neither Adaman nor Ruark provide points or EXP when summoned. Nevertheless, they are considered some of the most crucial neutral monsters for lane management. They charge along the lane and easily damage the Guardian Towers if they are not defended. Thus, enemy teams are forced to allocate more Masters in the lane under siege, which can cause them to lose the lead in other lanes.
Summoning Adaman and Ruark is closely tied to securing the Titan’s Sight in the beginning of the game. The team with more vision can easily detect the enemy’s movement, and distribute team members more appropriately. Therefore, it is best to capture the bottom Altar for this purpose. Of course, the top Altar would double the capability of managing lanes, but securing both Altars is not an easy task.
The fights later on are all about Titans. The Titan is a mighty monster, summoned with 100 points. It is summoned in the base and automatically marches forward along the middle lane.
If Titans from both teams clash in the lane, an intense battle begins. The Titan that wins the fight consumes a partial amount of the enemy Titan’s HP. It is difficult to defend against the enemy Titan when the ally team does not have one, thus you need to join the battle as soon as possible and support your Titan in order to win.
After the first Titan, the ones summoned next are Ardent Tsaphon, Helix Damizhra, and then Kinetic Marahv. The first Titan is stronger than the rest however, so the team that summons the first Titan is granted a huge advantage.
Once late game rolls around, the teams concentrate more on earning points. The objectives that are most fought for in this point-hunting period are Khazor and King Tanian. They provide 100 and 30 points respectively and are thus considered important monsters in the Titan Ruins.
King Tanian is located up on the hill where you need to climb the ladder, and Kahzor is in the dungeon-esque area. Due to the narrow space, the first team that arrives at the area first has an advantage over the other team. Although it is not common, players can go for these neutral monsters alone, depending on the team composition. Having the Titan’s Sights secured can help prevent the enemy team from trying to solo these monsters.
The most important thing in major battles is the use of the Titan Incarnate. It allows the transformation of a Master into a mighty Titan, and it requires five Titan Shards along with permission from the ally team members.
The Master who becomes the Titan Incarnate cannot use their Master skills anymore. However, the Master can use the unique skills of the Titan Incarnate instead. The Combat Mode, one of the Titan Incarnate modes, is specialized in attack, and it has an AoE skill that is great for the battle around Khazor and King Tanian.
The Titan Incarnate can also turn the tide of battle. If one team is losing, they could use the titan Incarnate to distract the enemy team, buying some time for other team members to secure objectives. You can also use the Titan Incarnate to defend against enemy advances, or even take down Guardian Towers of the Titan Core. Even if your team is in the lead, it is wise to be wary of backdoor attempts when the enemy team has access to the Titan Incarnate.
The team must accumulate points and manage lanes through the use of Titans, Adaman, and Ruark. When the gap between the ally team Masters’ level and the enemy team’s is huge, players can attempt to vanquish the enemy team and destroy the Titan Core directly. If it seems difficult to do so because of the solid defense of the enemy team, it is better to achieve victory by killing Kahzor and/or King Tanian.
