Since leaving [SBENU], I thought long and hard about my future, sometimes alone, at other times with acquaintances and family members. After much deliberation, I came to the conclusion that I would be better off quitting now.

Despite still being a newcomer to competitive play, I have lost much already due to the lifestyle that being a professional gamer entails. I would be forced to give up more if I were to continue. I made the decision to retire because I believe I'd be happier doing something more fun for me, that suits me better. Unless a top 4 LCK team makes an offer, my decision will be final. Heh."

SaSin signed off on a lighthearted note after expressing his gratitude towards his former coaches, teammates, friends, and fans. He plans to perform his mandatory Korean military duties soon.
