Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. rolled out the inaugural episode of its new promotional short-animation series for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game today on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG YouTube channel. The debut installment, “Sky Striker Ace I: Island Capture – Ray,” produced by the publisher’s in-house Konami Animation studio, brings the Sky Striker Ace archetype to life with polished visuals and dynamic action.

Episodes will arrive monthly, each one expanding the game’s lore by focusing on a distinct card theme. In May, the series will amplify the rivalry between Sky Striker Ace – Ray and Sky Striker Ace – Roze, showcasing their high-stakes duels through advanced animation techniques. June’s entry, “The Fallen & The Virtuous,” will highlight fan-favorite cards like Fallen of Albaz and Dogmatika Ecclesia. Konami Animation has slated additional thematic shorts through year-end, promising an ongoing deep dive into the world behind the cards.

Established in February 2024, Konami Animation marries Konami’s gaming heritage with cutting-edge production technology to craft immersive anime content that complements its trading card franchises. All episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game “The Chronicles” are now available for streaming on the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG YouTube channel.
