Netmarble Updates Solo Leveling: ARISE With New SSR Hunter and Global Tournament

Netmarble has unveiled a major update to its action-packed mobile title, Solo Leveling: ARISE, introducing a range of new features and in-game events designed to enhance player experience. The update brings fresh content that includes a brand-new SSR water-type hunter, an improved artifact upgrade system, and additional gameplay modes, alongside various limited-time events.

Players can now summon Seorin, a familiar character from the Hunters Association who has long been part of the game’s backdrop, as a playable SSR hunter. Known for her impressive durability and strategic prowess in breaking through enemy lines, Seorin rides a motorbike and fires ice-infused projectiles, making her a versatile addition to any team.

In a move to expand customization, Netmarble has integrated an Artifact Reforge system. With this feature, players can incrementally upgrade their artifacts by utilizing Reforge Stones, which are available from Instant Dungeons and Encore Missions. This system offers a streamlined approach to enhancing equipment that players have diligently gathered and upgraded throughout their journey.

The update also introduces the All-Out Guild War mode, a refined take on the Guild Boss battle format. In this mode, teams are restricted to six hunters per lineup, emphasizing tactical planning and coordinated strategies. Performance metrics such as total damage dealt and collective Rage accumulation will determine the winning guild. Additional enhancements include an expansion of the armory, the launch of Hard Mode in Reverse Story, and the debut of a new Battlefield of Trials stage that now reaches floor 70.

Netmarble is also rolling out time-sensitive events, including a Spring in the Air! Check-In Gift event running through May 8, and May’s Artifact Modification, which promise exclusive rewards like Hunter Event Weapon Chests and unique weapon designs. The update builds anticipation for the global Solo Leveling: ARISE Championship 2025 final on April 12 at IVEX Studio in Korea, with live streaming available on YouTube.
