T1 and DRX have both confirmed their playoff advancement during Week 3 of the VCT Pacific Stage 1, with decisive victories that extended their three-game winning streaks. The series of matches, played at the Sangam SOOP Coliseum in Seoul from Saturday through Monday, showcased strong tactical play and highlighted the skills of South Korea’s top teams in VALORANT.
T1, fresh off a successful run at Masters Bangkok, continued to dominate in the Omega Group. Their performance against Team Secret and Global Esports solidified their position as group leaders. In a match on Monday, T1 secured a narrow 2-1 win in a closely contested full-set series. The team demonstrated strategic execution on key maps, overcoming an early setback on Icebox by recovering in later rounds. Their consistent performance across Haven, Icebox, and Lotus allowed them to maintain a flawless three-game sweep, thereby earning a playoff berth. This win capped off a string of strong victories, including previous wins against ZETA Division and Nongshim RedForce.

DRX, representing the Alpha Group, also bolstered their playoff credentials with a convincing 2-0 win over Global Esports. Notably, the team’s decision to introduce Park Geon, known as Estrella, in place of Kang "BeYN" Ha-bin proved to be a successful adjustment. Despite lacking prior official VCT Pacific match experience, Estrella contributed significantly with impactful performances on maps such as Ascent and Split. His efforts, coupled with smart plays from the rest of the squad, helped DRX build momentum following wins over Paper Rex and Denotation FocusMe.
In other action, Gen.G impressed by nearly clinching a playoff spot after an overwhelming win against Japan’s Denotation FocusMe, while Nongshim RedForce experienced setbacks in the Omega Group. The results from Week 3 highlight shifting fortunes among Korean teams and set the stage for an intense playoff battle in the upcoming rounds.
