Chessfinity Ltd. has launched its debut title, ChessFinity, a modern PC reinterpretation of chess that introduces three-dimensional gameplay and expanded multiplayer options. A demo is now available on Steam, with a multiplayer “Game Night” mode slated for early access in the coming weeks.
Developed over two years, ChessFinity transforms the classic board game by allowing players to maneuver pieces across multiple levels. The game supports more than the traditional two-player format, offering 2v2 battles on layered boards, free-for-all matches, and innovative modes such as a mana-based system that blends strategic chess with deck-building elements. In addition, users can customize both 2D and 3D chess pieces, adjust board display sizes and spacing, and choose background colors.
The release is part of Steam Next Fest, running Feb. 24 through Mar. 3, 2025, during which players can download the demo, view the demo trailer on YouTube, and add the game to their Steam wishlist.
