Riot Games Unveils Arcane Season 2 Trailer and Cross-Game Content Updates

Riot Games today released the trailer for Arcane Season 2 and announced a suite of upcoming in-game content across all its popular titles in celebration of the new season.

To mark the debut of Arcane Season 2 on Netflix, set to premiere on Nov. 9, Riot Games is integrating themed content into its flagship games—League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), League of Legends: Wild Rift, VALORANT, and Legends of Runeterra.

Ambessa Medarda, the Noxian general introduced in the first season, will join League of Legends, TFT, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra. In League of Legends, players can look forward to an Arcane-themed update for the ARAM mode, featuring the Bridge of Progress map. Additionally, a new Exalted-tier skin will allow players to experience Jinx’s Arcane storyline, alongside new skins for Brawler Vi and a Jinx-themed Nexus Finisher.

TFT’s upcoming 13th set will heavily feature Arcane elements, including exclusive champions like Powder and new mechanics inspired by the series. The set will also introduce Arcane-themed cosmetics, such as new Arenas and Tacticians like Chibi Caitlyn. Furthermore, TFT’s experimental PvE mode, Tocker’s Trials, will make a return in the first patch of the new set, providing players with a low-pressure environment to explore the updates.

In Wild Rift, champions Singed and Warwick are set to receive gameplay updates, and Heimerdinger, previously announced, is now available in the game. VALORANT players can anticipate a new Arcane-themed bundle, while Warwick will appear alongside Ambessa in Legends of Runeterra’s Path of Champions.

Riot Games also announced that on Nov. 11, 2XKO, Riot’s forthcoming fighting game, will showcase an updated look at Jinx ahead of its 2025 launch. Additionally, real-world Arcane merchandise, including makeup from Fenty Beauty, apparel from Uniqlo and BlackMilk, and collectibles from Funko and Tokidoki, will begin to roll out as the season premiere approaches.

Marc Merrill, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Riot Games, stated, “Teams at Riot have worked closely together to make the launch of Arcane a moment that can be enjoyed across all of our games. We can’t wait to see what you all think of the show and everything else we have coming.”

Christian Linke, Co-Creator and Showrunner of Arcane, added, “Arcane's first season gave us an exciting opportunity to deepen the world of Runeterra through storytelling, Fortiche’s stunning animation, music, and easter eggs for dedicated League fans. Season 2 will bring you even deeper into the world.”

Arcane Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in three acts: Act One on Nov. 9, Act Two on Nov. 16, and Act Three on Nov. 23. The animated series, created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee, has been lauded as one of Netflix’s most successful animated series, earning multiple Emmy Awards and widespread acclaim for its animation and storytelling.
