Solo Leveling: ARISE, Harper and Charlotte Team Composition Recommendations

The new characters Harper and Charlotte are hunters that can significantly enhance the dark attribute team, which previously struggled with power. Although they can be used with existing hunters like Baek Yoonho and Lim Tae-Gyu, their synergy with each other, especially including advancement, makes them a top-tier combination.

Charlotte + Harper + Lee Bora

  • This is the optimal dark attribute party composition at the moment.
  • Lee Bora isn't an authentic support, but she acts as a sub-DPS with a debuff that increases damage received by enemies.
  • Lee Bora’s short on-field time complements the longer battle durations of Charlotte and Harper, benefiting the team cycle.
  • However, since there is no dedicated healer or shield provider in this setup, careful control is necessary.
  • When Harper reaches his 4th advancement, she boosts the defense and health of the team, increasing Charlotte’s damage as she scales with defense.
  • Charlotte’s ultimate has a shorter cooldown of 40 seconds, which drops to 20 seconds after her first advancement, synergizing well with Harper’s dark attribute ultimate damage boost.

Charlotte + Harper + Min Byung-Gu

  • In this variation, Min Byung-Gu replaces Lee Bora.
  • Min Byung-Gu provides stronger buffs, further amplifying Charlotte’s damage output.
  • Min Byung-Gu’s healing improves the party's overall durability.
  • However, dark attribute enemies tend to have resistance to light attributes, which may reduce this team’s potential in certain situations.

Silver Mane Baek Yoonho + Harper + Lee Bora

  • Since there is a one-week gap between the release of Charlotte and Harper, this is a recommended party composition to use before Charlotte becomes available.
  • Silver Mane Baek Yoonho is a pure DPS without additional abilities like Break, making him more powerful than Lim Tae-Gyu in terms of raw damage.
  • Baek Yoonho is a berserker-type character who sacrifices his own health, but the party lacks healing capabilities, so it's recommended to have Baek Yoonho at more than his first advancement to activate his shield effect.
  • When considering advancing Harper further, investing in Baek Yoonho is not recommended unless Baek Yoonho has already been fully advanced.

Harper’s 4th advancement grants a defense and health boost to the team, which doesn’t benefit attack-based Baek Yoonho much.

Also, players investing enough to advance a character to the 4th level are likely to draw Charlotte as well.
