Tencent will be building an esports-themed amusement park in Wuhu, China.
Tencent, who owns Riot Games, announced that they will be building a huge gaming complex in Wuhu with the city’s cooperation.
What Tencent has planned for their gaming complex includes not only content directly related to games, such as an esports theme park and an esports university, but also a cultural creative park, an animation industry park, a technology business community, and a cloud data center.
Notably, this esports theme park is expected to have different kinds of rides with themes based on League of Legends, a game serviced by Riot Games, which League fans are looking forward to. There also will be an esports stadium built inside the park.
They have not yet revealed any further specific details of the plan for this project or the exact date.
