In SCHiM, players follow the journey of a lost shadow trying to reunite with its human. The game's narrative explores the concept of a schim, the soul and spirit of an object or living being, emphasizing the urgency of reuniting a shadow with its human before time runs out. The gameplay is centered around moving through shadows, requiring players to leap into the shadows of animated objects and moving beings to progress through the levels.
