The inaugural 2024 PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC) is set to take place at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh later this month. This event promises to be the highlight of the summer in mobile esports, featuring 24 elite teams from around the globe who will battle within three groups for a spot on the main stage, competing for the prestigious PMWC title and a share of the impressive $3,000,000 prize pool. The event will kick off on July 19th with the Group Stage and will conclude with the Main Stage from July 26th to 28th.

The PMWC unfolds in three thrilling stages: the Group Stage, the Survival Stage, and the Main Stage. Initially, teams are divided into three groups (Red, Green, and Yellow) and will compete intensely from July 19th to 21st. The top 12 teams from these groups will advance directly to the Main Stage, ensuring their place in the final rounds. Meanwhile, the remaining 12 teams will have another chance to prove their worth in the Survival Stage on July 23rd and 24th. This is more than just a second wind however, as one wildcard team from each of the 4 PMSL regions will step into the ring to steal a spot in the Main Stage from the Survival Stage teams. Following this fierce competition, four teams will earn their spot in the Main Stage, joining the initial 12 qualifiers for the final high-stakes showdown.

The Main Stage will see 16 teams compete for ultimate glory from July 26 to 28th.The winners will not only claim the prestigious World Cup title and a substantial share of the impressive $3,000,000 prize pool, but also secure a coveted extra slot for their region at the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship in the United Kingdom.
