Arc System Works America, Inc., in partnership with Bushiroad Games, has announced plans to bring HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT, a brand-new 2D 3v3 fighting game based on the hit anime and manga by author Yoshihiro Togashi, to fans overseas. The game will debut for the PlayStation5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam this year.

HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT is based on the “Hunter x Hunter” anime, which ran from October 2011 through September 2014, with the manga still ongoing in Weekly Shonen Jump since March of 1998. Developed by Bushiroad Games, HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT will feature blistering fast 3v3, team and assist based fighting game action true to the spirit of competitive 2D fighting games.

This year’s inaugural IGN Live fan event included the first reveal of the anime and manga sensation’s iconic Treasure Hunter Biscuit Krueger (Bisky) that will be featured in the game. In the newly released trailer spotlighting Bisky, fans caught glimpses of the swift fighter’s resourceful combat skills. You can leverage her Aura Arts to increase her offensive and defensive abilities and develop a fighting style to offset your opponent’s counter attacks.

Additional announced characters for the new title include Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, and Netero. Fans can expect to learn about more of the title’s characters and gameplay elements soon, with a new character promotional video slated to debut during the “ARC Live ft. Bushiroad” panel during this year’s Anime Expo on July 6, 7:00PM at Petree Hall.

The game also just concluded a successful demo at EVO Japan from April 26-28, where players had the chance to take Gon and his hunter friends and enemies for a test drive.

For those attending Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 4-7, HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT will have its first playable demo in the United States at the Arc System Works booth (Exhibit Hall #929). What’s more, attendees can also visit the Bushiroad Games’ (Entertainment Hall Booth #E-25) for a HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT Photo Opportunity!
