The PUBG Global Series 3 (PGS 3) featured the top 24 teams from around the world, held from May 20 to 26 in Shanghai, China, with group stages followed by final stages. Sixteen teams advanced from the group stages to the final stages, which took place over three days from May 24 to 26. After 18 matches of intense competition in the final stages, Cerberus Esports claimed victory with a total of 163 points.

Cerberus Esports from Vietnam's PGS 3 victory marks the first international tournament win for a team from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Cerberus Esports was the only team among the 16 in the final stage to surpass 100 kill points, showcasing world-class combat skills throughout the tournament. Despite being 34 points behind the leader and in third place by the end of the second day, they scored an impressive 73 points on the final day to secure a comeback victory.

Cerberus Esports earned a $100,000 prize and accumulated 300 PGS points. These points are awarded based on rankings in the four PGS events held throughout the year and the regional qualifiers for the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Saudi Arabia in August. The top 8 teams in PGS points will qualify for the 2024 PUBG Global Championship (PGC 2024), the premier international PUBG Esports event held at the end of the year.

Following Cerberus Esports, the second place was taken by Soniqs with 142 points, and Twisted Minds came in third with 133 points. Notably, global partner teams dominated the top five positions, demonstrating the significance and objectivity of the selection criteria for the global partner team program in developing the PUBG Esports ecosystem.

The MVP of this tournament was Himass from Cerberus Esports. Himass led his team to the championship by recording the highest number of kills, 76, and the most cumulative damage, 13,754, among all players across the 30 matches, showcasing exceptional combat prowess.

Krafton will follow up PGS 3 with PGS 4, set to take place from June 3 to 9, following the same structure and schedule as PGS 3. The top 24 teams from around the world who competed in PGS 3 will once again vie for a total prize pool of $300,000, continuing the excitement.
