On day 5 of the group stages of the 2022 LoL World Championships, T1 took down Fnatic and got their revenge victory over Fnatic. With this victory, they are now 3-1 in their group, and are one step closer to punching their ticket into the quarterfinals of the tournament.

T1’s bot laner, Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong, joined for a quick interview with Sjokz and Jeesun Park.

You got your revenge over Fnatic. What changed this time around?

After we lost, we prepared a lot on our draft, as well as improving our in-game form.

It’s Keria’s birthday today. Is there anything you’d like to say to him?

Happy birthday, Min-seok. My birthday present is a ticket to the quarterfinals.

You had 3 days off. What was the focus for you coming into today?

Personally, I focused on improving my mastery level over different picks, and maintaining my physical form. The preparation looks to be paying its dividends so far.
