After Cloud9 swept out 100 Thieves at the 2022 LCS championship finals on Sep. 11, the draw show for the 2022 LoL World Championship was held. Worlds 2022 will be held in North America from Sep. 29 through Nov. 5, beginning with the Play-in Stage in Mexico City (Sep. 29-Oct. 4), Groups and Quarterfinals in New York (Oct. 7-23), Semifinals in Atlanta (Oct. 29-30), and the Grand Finals in San Francisco (Nov. 5).
In the draw show, Marcus “Dyrus” Hill, Hai “Hai” Du Lam, and Jake “Xmithie” Puchero drew the teams for the Play-ins and Groups for Worlds 2022. The groups are as follows.
