For the LCS 2022 Championship, Riot Games hosted the final sets of competion at Chicago's United Arena. The organization, as well as many LCS teams and notable League of Legends figures, hosted another iteration of Fan Fest. Inven Global was able to attend and capture some visuals from the event.
For the first day, there were a number of booths and events for fans to enjoy. Among the most notable were a live version of Travis Gafford's Hotline League, a multitude of photo opportunities with cosplayers and professional players, as well as a meet-and-greet with popular Twitch streamer Tyler "Tyler1" Steinkamp.
The LCS also took the opportunity to empower local organizations in Chicago. In attendance were organizations such as the Chicago Park District, I Play Games!, Youth Guidance — hosting booths to support and promote the growth of esports within the Windy City. The festivities took place outside United Center — home of teams such as the National Basketball Association's Chicago Bulls, and the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks.
