Doublelift rejoins Team SoloMid after saving Team Liquid from relegation.

On April 28th (PDT), Team SoloMid announced that Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng will return to the team as ADC once again on 2017 LCS Summer Split roster.

The announcement noted that the team will operate a six-man roster on Summer Split with Doublelift and Jason "WildTurtle" Tran sharing the ADC role. With Doublelift's return, the announcement showed how the team "look forward to carrying over our successes into the Summer Split and make our strongest showing yet."

Doublelift shared the enthusiasm: "I'm really excited to be playing again on TSM...This is the hungriest that I've ever been to succeed, and soon I will prove it to my teammates, my fans, and the world.”

TSM emphasized that Doublelift will not be playing for the team in MSI 2017. Doublelift will instead "integrate fully into the team’s scrim time, and expected to take on the same duties of any player on the roster" until the next split.
