Sanghyuk “Faker” Lee always gets the most amount of views whenever he turns on his LoL livestream. He is best known for his unmatched career in the League, but we can also see from his livestream that he often spends quite some time playing games other than League of Legends.
One of the games he plays during his livestream is “I Wanna Be the Boshy.” Made by the indie developer Jesper Solgryn as an homage to “I Wanna Be the Guy,” IWBTB is notorious for its extreme difficulty that can cause the number of deaths to stack up to three digits. The game features complicated stages full of objects that kill the character as soon as you come in contact with them. There are numerous traps around the map disguised to trick the player, and the clunky control system does nothing but make the already chaotic stages even more difficult to clear.
The game features a good amount of stages categorized into 16 worlds and 12 bosses, each of them with a demonic difficulty level that often seems to exceed that of I Wanna Be the Guy. Faker plays this game frequently when he is waiting for a queue, and dies a lot in one run, easily exceeding 100 deaths. This often got the viewers questioning if the game is even meant to be cleared, especially when they consider the mechanical skills that Faker is well known for.
However, despite the numerous deaths, Faker proves himself as a pro gamer by controlling the character with great detail, dodging the traps and even discovering secret paths to clear the game. His facial expression hardly changes even when the situation turns out harsh. Even when he dies right before the end of the stage, he stays calm and carries on with his challenge.
Faker’s LoL livestream is already entertaining. With the addition of other games to the legendary LoL pro’s livestream, viewers have begun taking even more interest in his Twitch channel.
He is not the only LoL pro playing other games. Junsik “Bang” Bae plays Hearthstone a lot when he is waiting for a queue. He often plays against other streamers and even wins some matches. Bang’s Hearthstone livestream has been adding a little something for his viewers to enjoy.
