Today, Super Evil Megacorp released Update 2.4 for Vainglory, which features new hero, Baptiste, additional skins and in-game events. A summary of Update 2.4 can be found below and full patch notes are available on the Vainglory blog here.


Vainglory Update 2.4


- New Hero Baptiste : Soul-reaper Baptiste enters the fold with an assortment of abilities that sustain and empower his attacks, striking fear into enemies. He commands his army of shades to either lock down unsuspecting victims or terrorize entire teams, forcing them to flee.

- New Skins : This update also releases ‘Elite Force’ SAW,‘Red Lantern’ Flicker and ‘Night Shadow’ Taka. Vainglory also just introduces its 100th skin with this update, ‘Champions Fate’ Blackfeather!

- Double Glory Weekends and Talents : Vainglory will also host four double Glory weekends from now until the Spring Championships. These glory upgrades will lead into ‘Talents’ a new progression system coming soon which is exclusive to BRAWL game modes such as Blitz and Battle Royale.

Also, don't forget that starting May 19 and running through May 21, Vainglory esports will be in full-force at the first Unified Live Spring Season Championship inside London’s famed O2. Tickets are available now for £10/$12.50 on Eventbrite. For fans unable to attend in-person, the action will be streamed live on Vainglory’s Twitch.TV, Facebook and YouTube channels.
