On Apr 29, T1 announced that they’ve extended their support player, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok’s contract for an additional year. With this contract extension, Keria will be staying with T1 until November of 2023.
Keria’s had a very successful split with T1 this past Spring. Not only did T1 become Spring Split Champions and earned their 10th LCK title by not dropping a single match this split, Keria was named the Regular Split MVP, an unprecedented achievement as a support player. He is credited to much of T1’s success, as his teammates have credited him for the so-called ‘big brain’ in-game decisions.
As T1’s the LCK representatives for the upcoming MId-Season Invitational 2022, they will be joining world-class teams such as Royal Never Give Up of the LPL and G2 Esports of the LEC in the upcoming tournament. Due to T1’s domestic success this year, many fans are not only looking forward to the matchups against such teams from other regions, but also anticipating them as the favorites of the tournament.
