Oh My God needed to win their penultimate match of the LPL Spring Split against LNG Esports to even have a chance at contending FPX for the 10th seed, but an 0-2 loss to LNG punched FPX's ticket to the post-season and shot OMG's playoff hopes into the sun.
UPDATE Mar. 19: Two more teams have qualified for the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs, which means nine of the ten spots in the post-season have been taken. As a result of EDward Gaming's most recent victory over Rare Atom, Bilibili Gaming became the eighth team to qualify for the post-season. It wasn't all bad for Rare Atom, though — Victory Five's win over FunPlus Phoenix punched the RA post-season ticket shortly after BLG's qualification.
UPDATE Mar. 12: One day after JD Gaming's qualification, two more teams have qualified for the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs. LNG Esports and EDward Gaming won their most recent matches in the 2022 LPL Spring Split against LGD Gaming and Bilibili Gaming, respectively — both 2-1 — and in doing so, became the sixth and seventh teams to punch their tickets to the post-season.

The 2022 LPL Spring Split is closing in on its end, and with it, the post-season picture of the LPL Spring Playoffs is beginning to come into focus. The most recent team to qualify for the LPL Spring Playoffs is JD Gaming, who punched their ticket as a result of their most recent 2-0 win over ThunderTalk Gaming.
At 9-5, JD Gaming is the fifth team competing in the 2022 LPL Spring Split to qualify for the post-season. The other four teams who have already qualified for the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs are Top Esports, Royal Never Give Up, Weibo Gaming, and Victory Five. Those four teams, in order, are ahead of JD Gaming in the standings in 4th-1st, respectively.
In addition to the five teams who have qualified for the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs, three teams have already been mathematically eliminated from post-season contention. Team WE was the first team to be eliminated, followed by ThunderTalk Gaming, and most recently, LGD Gaming.
There are five spots left in the 10-team bracket for the LPL Spring Playoffs, and with the top five teams in the standings already qualified and the bottom three mathematically eliminated, the nine teams in the middle will fight to fill the vacant half of the bracket until the conclusion of the 2022 LPL Spring Split. The split concludes on March 24, 2022, but a makeup game must also be played between Oh My God and Royal Never Give Up, which has yet to be scheduled for a specific date.
The teams still in post-season contention, in order from 6th place to 14th place in the current LPL Spring Split standings are defending World Champion EDward Gaming, LNG Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Rare Atom, Oh My God, FunPlus Phoenix, Anyone's Legend, Ultra Prime, and Invictus Gaming.
