Former Cloud9 head coach Nick "LS" De Cesare thinks his brief stint with the North American organization was his final adventure as a coach on a professional League of Legends team. "I will not do coaching again in an official capacity anywhere," he replied to his viewers while he was co-streaming LCK matches. "It's just not worth it anymore. It's not worth everything that comes with it."
LS was hired by Cloud9 as their head coach for the 2022 season and quickly had a big impact on the roster and the competition in the LCS. Under his administration, Cloud9 pushed enchanters into the mid meta and found great success in the first weeks of the spring split.
However, last weekend, just three weeks in to the 2022 LCS spring split, Cloud9 made a surprise announcement that LS had been let go. The team released an additional statement yesterday, outlining that LS and Cloud9 had different philosophies, but no specific reasons were given for LS' departure.
While LS himself has not provided details of the situation either, he did think of his short-lived adventure as a success. "I think, honestly, what happened with C9 is a success story," he said. "We were able to do so much in such little time, that people said still wouldn't have happened, regardless of time. So, that's good."

Storyteller by heart. If something is competitive, I am interested in it.
