Wemade announced that they will be attending GDC (Game Developers Conference), the biggest game conference in the world, that will be held from March 21 to 25 in San Francisco, USA.
With a global blockchain platform, WEMIX, in the forefront, will be participating in the event with 60 booths, which is the biggest size for a Korean company. Also, Wemade will be attending as a Diamond Partner to spread the words about the WEMIX blockchain platform, and discuss onboarding games and other businesses.
Henry Chang, the CEO of Wemade, will be giving a presentation at the GDC Summit, and members from business and developer teams will be giving 4 lectures.
With the global roadshow, Wemade is planning to meet game and blockchain developers from all around the world, and establish a solid foothold in the global market.
Wemade is the first game company in South Korea to successfully launch a blockchain MMORPG MIR4 for global players. The number of concurrent players of the game exceeded 1.4 million, and the popularity is still growing. They are collaborating with many developers to onboard different genres of blockchain games onto our WEMIX platform.
Currently, Wemade has transformed into a global metaverse blockchain company with MIR4 Global and its cryptocurrency, WEMIX. It introduced a new P&E (Play and Earn) paradigm where you can play games and earn resources. To expand the WEMIX ecosystem, it is continuing multi-pronged approaches to blockchain business in general, including game developing, IP, licensing, and investing in blockchain companies with great potential.
