Recoil Booster

While silencers have been the go-to move in Warzone for a long time, the recoil booster is essential to making the MP40 dominant in Warzone. This attachment will increase the fire rate of your gun, in exchange for a hit to its accuracy. You won't be using the MP40 outside of close range anyway, so the accuracy hit is no big deal, while the increased fire rate will directly improve your time to kill.

Krausnick 217mm 04B

Oddly enough, despite being the first barrel you unlock, this is arguably the best MP40 barrel. It improves your accuracy a bit and decreases copes sway. Its nothing super special, but its the best option here.

ISO1M

In appearance, the ISO1M is just iron sights. The Iron sights on this weapon are actually really good, with high visibility and a satisfying look and feel to playing. The ISO1M part increases your ADS speed, which is a great addition to this fast-paced MP40 loadout.

Krausnick 33M Folding

The folding stock is another early unlock that outperforms expectations. This is going to increase your sprint to fire speed and your movement speed, helping you maximize your movement so you can get the drop on your enemies in those close-range fights. Alternatively, you could run with the removed stock, which is going to give you similar benefits.

Mark VI Skeletal

This attachment just adds some extra ADS speed, as we try to maximize how quickly you can scope in for those kills. In Warzone's current state, many fights with MP40s come down to fractions of a second, so every attachment that maximizes your ability to get on target faster is going to be desirable.

7.62 Gorenko 45 Rnd Mags

This magazine is a grab bag of good things for the MP40. It improves your recoil control and accuracy, your movement speed, your ADS speed, and your fire rate. In exchange, you will actually do less damage per shot, but the benefits end up outweighing the cons in regards to winning close-quarters combat engagements.

Subsonic

Subsonic ammo is where we are going to make up for our lack of a silencer. This will cause a hit to bullet velocity, but since this whole set up in short-range anyway, that isn't going to be the end of the world. Subsonic decreases fire visibility and keeps you off the minimap, which is essential in Warzone, where intel is so important. 

Polymer Grip

The polymer grip is the final grip unlock for the MP40 in Warzone. It adds flinch resistance and improves your recoil during sustained fire. When combined, those two things basically make this gun unstoppable, even if enemies are hitting their shots too.

Steady

Steady improves your ADS firing move speed, a great addition to this mobility-focused set up.

Quick

Finally, we have quick, another mobility improvement, this time to your sprint speed.

E.O.D

E.O.D. decreases the damage you take from explosives in Warzone. It is a great addition to the MP40, since it is going to help you survive grenade spam and push enemies more confidently.

Overkill 

Overkill lets you run two primary weapons. With the MP40 being so close-ranged, you want to have another primary slot dedicated to a Bren, Automation, Swiss, or another longer-range gun that can take out enemies at range in Caldera.

Amped

Weapon swap speed can be really important with the MP40, especially given the mobility-focused setup we have put together here.

Throwing Knife

While it isn't going to explode an enemy, the throwing knife's utility is hard to question. It allows you to quickly dispatch enemies who have been downed, without the need to reveal your location or reload afterward. Then you can pick up the knife and do it all again. It's not the sexiest option, but it is the most useful one.

Stim

Stim is also not the sexiest option, but its utility is never in doubt. Stim restores your health and your tactical sprint, giving you what amounts to a get-out-of-jail-free card. This is particularly important when you are aggressively slaying with your MP40, and need a quick touch-up in the middle of a fight.
