After teasing last week that she will announce her next move in her streaming career today, streamer and prolific online personality Imane "Pokimane" Anys confirmed on Tuesday that she is staying on Twitch for the foreseeable future. Poki has been streaming on Twitch since 2013, and nothing is changing in 2022.
In addition to her announcement that she will remain on Twitch, she is also revealed that she will be giving away a Telsa to one lucky viewer. Twitch replied to her announcement, saying: "New Year, Same Poki."
Pokimane is the 9th most followed streamer on the Twitch platform, boasting just short of 9 million followers. As of writing this article, she is sitting on just over 9600 active subscribers, leaving her ranked #110 on the platform in regards to active subscriptions. She is a variety streamer, who engages in numerous types of content, but most recently she has been spending a lot of her streams playing VALORANT, a game that she is ranked Radiant in.
While things are going well for Pokimane overall, it hasn't been all smooth sailing. She was banned a couple months ago for streaming Avatar on stream, and then more recently she was harassed by JiDion and his followers, and then threatened by Ninja's team with a lawsuit for calling out Ninja's role in standing up for JiDion. She has since squashed that beef with JiDion, with JiDion posting an image last week of them eating chicken sandwiches together.
