L5, the Heroes of the Storm Superleague 2016 S3 champions, will head to BlizzCon - sponsored.
On October 12th, Ballistix announced its title sponsorship agreement with L5 on the team's official website. For the duration of the contract, L5 will play as Ballistix and receive general support as well as gaming gear. The contract will last through BlizzCon 2016 up until Netease's Gold Club World Championships.
Ballistix is the gaming product brand of Micron, a global leader in the semiconductor industry. Although Ballistix has sponsored other teams in the past, such as Ninjas in Pajamas' CS:GO squad, it is the first time that a team will play under the Ballistix name.
