[UPDATE Dec. 1] It was announced that the top laner for Gen.G's 2021 roster, Noh "Burdol" Tae-yoon, has parted ways with the organization. He started off his career as a prospect with T1, and first debuted at T1 Academy in 2020. He joined Gen.G in 2021, where he competed for the starting spot on the roster alongside Kim "Rascal" Kwang-hee. He helped lead his team to a top 4 finish at this year's World championships, falling 2-3 to this year's champions, EDward Gaming.

[UPDATED Nov. 24] One of the hottest FAs in this stove league, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon has joined Gen.G. Not too long after the announcement of signing Son "Lehends" Si-woo, Gen.G finished up their roster with Chovy in mid lane. As of this signing, Chovy will be reunited with two of his old Griffin buddies: Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon and Lehends.

On Nov. 24, Gen.G announced that they’ve signed Son “Lehends” Si-woo for 2022. This is the fourth player announcement for Gen.G. Lehends will play alongside Park “Ruler” Jae -hyuk in the bot lane.

Lehends first debuted in the LCK in 2018 as a member of Griffin. With Griffin, he reached three consecutive finals, playing as the starting support. After he left Griffin, Lehends played in Haneha Life Esports and Afreeca Freecs but didn’t have as good results.

Gen.G released most of its players during this stove league, only leaving Ruler in the starting roster. As they acquired jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho through a trade and signed top laner Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon, their last missing piece is the mid lane.
