Dignitas announced on Monday that support player Zaqueri "aphromoo" Black has parted ways with the organization heading into the 2022 season. In addition, top laner Samson "Lourlo" Jackson has also parted ways with the organization, which was announced earlier in the afternoon.

aphromoo competed with Dignitas throughout the 2020 and 2021 seasons. The 2022 season will mark aphromoo's 11th season competing in League of Legends professionally, making him the longest-tenured veteran player currently competing in the LCS. He has played for a handful of organizations prior to his time with Dignitas, most notably 100 Thieves and Counter Logic Gaming.

With his departure, Aphromoo will now become an unrestricted free agent, available to be signed during the off-season. Considering his wealth of experience and excellent reputation, it is likely another team will offer him a contract in the coming days and weeks, as free agency is in full swing as of Monday at 4 PM PT.

A report by Jacob Wolf as part of Dot Esports' League of Legends Free Agency Show on November 15 points towards aphromoo signing with FlyQuest for the 2022 LCS season. This would hypothetically reunite aphromoo with AD carry Johnson "Johnsun" Nguyen, who had an excellent rookie year alongside aphromoo on DIG in 2020 before a sophomore slump with FLY in 2021.

Wolf's report also points towards GameWard mid laner Loïc "toucouille" Dubois signing a three-year deal with FlyQuest as the organization's new LCS mid laner. Despite competing in the ERL for some time, toucouille has not made a splash on the EU Masters stage. However, FlyQuest may be looking to develop toucouille as potentially indicated by the length of his deal.

Aside from three weeks of play in the 2020 LCS Summer Split, Lourlo spent his two-year tenure with Dignitas as the top laner for DIG Academy. Lourlo has not competed in the LCS consistently since starting in the top lane for Golden Guardians in the team's inaugural 2018 season.
