Warzone Season 5 Reloaded is here, and along with it has come the rise of Warzone's most powerful LMG the Stoner 63. While the Stoner may not be every player's dream weapon, it packs a punch, and with the right Loadout, it can dominate Verdansk. Its pick rate is currently trending up, as the Krig 6 received a nerf to its long-range potential in the form of a recoil and neck multiplier nerf.
Here is our guide for the best loadout for the Stoner 63 in Warzone Season 5 reloaded.
Overview to the Stoner 63 in Warzone Season 5
The stoner deals anywhere between 37 and 30 damage per shot, allowing it to kill an enemy at close range in about .56 seconds, and at longer range an impressive .65 seconds. It is limited by its longer ADS time, since it is an LMG, making this weapon better at long range than short range. With the new nerf to the Krig's recoil at long range, this gun might be a good option to test out.
The loadout we put together will maximize this gun's damage at long range, which is the ideal range for this weapon. With that in mind, it is also wise to grab an SMG or other shorter-range gun to handle those CQB encounters.
Best Attachments to use on the Stoner 63 in Warzone Season 5
- Agency Suppressor
- 21.8" Task Force barrel
- Field Agent Grip
- Serpent Wrap
- Royal & Kross 4x scope
Agency Suppressor
As usual, it is best to run a suppressor on this gun. The suppressor will help keep you off enemy radars and reduce your recoil slightly as well. Suppressors are normal means in Warzone and will remain so until they introduce a compelling alternative to stealth.
21.8" Task Force barrel
The task force barrel gives you 8% extra damage, 100% extra effective damage range, and a just over 40% bullet velocity buff. In exchange, you will take hits to your starting ammo and magazine capacity, but the trade is well worth it for the improved effectiveness at range.
Field Agent Grip
The stock Stoner 63 features a decent amount of side-to-side and vertical recoil. The Field Agent Grip will help give you more control over that recoil, which is essential when you are trying to take out a target at longer ranges. The field agent grip is an absolute necessity for making this weapon viable at Krig 6 type ranges.
Serpent Wrap
The biggest drawback to the Stoner is its age-long ADS time. Luckily the Serpent Wrap will go a long way toward mitigating that issue since it will increase your ADS time by about 25%. The Stoner still won't be insta-ADSing on enemies like an SMG might, but it's still a significant improvement that makes this gun more fun to play with at the very least.
Royal & Kross 4x scope
Finally, you will want a ranged optic for the Stoner. The most popular optic for this gun is the Royal & Kross 4x scope, though the Axial Arms 3x is also a popular pick. Without a doubt, either of these scopes is going to make this gun much more usable and fun to play with.
