What first drew you to cosplay?
I started cosplaying in High School with my Anime Club. I knew nothing about making costumes but I really wanted our club to dress up as the characters of the new anime, Naruto. I dressed up as a very inaccurate Sakura Haruno and that was the beginning of my cosplay life. It became common place for me every year after that. I don’t remember a time when cosplay wasn’t a part of my life.
What is the most satisfying thing about Cosplay?
All of it, to be honest. I’ve lived and breathed cosplay for the last 6 years of my life. I think about it everyday and am always crafting or doing photo shoots. I really can’t imagine my
life without cosplay because I love it so much.
Who are some cosplayers you look up to?
I’ve always looked up to Yaya Han, Jessica Nigri, and Vampy Bit Me. They’ve been my senpais from the beginning. And now I can call them friends.
What type of characters do you love to cosplay?
I’m really drawn to characters that are somewhere between “kawaii girl” and “badass woman”. I think I portray cute girls the best but sex appeal and power are also really fun to embody. My favorite characters are Rei Ayanami from Evangelion, Mercy from Overwatch, and Aqua from Konosuba.
What cosplay achievements are you most proud of?
I’m really proud of where cosplay has taken me. I’ve been able to travel around the world to conventions and events. I live in Los Angeles now because of my success as a cosplayer. Being a professional cosplayer is my greatest achievement as well as my greatest love.
Where would be your ideal travel destination?
Taiwan! My family is from there and it’s one of my favorite places in the world. I wish I could visit every year. And I really want to meet fellow Taiwanese cosplayers.
What do you do for fun besides cosplay?
I love watching anime. A lot. I probably binge watch a series every day. I’m currently catching up on Hunter x Hunter. I also really love to watch analytical breakdowns of anime shows on YouTube.
Where can people see more of your cosplay?
Check out my Instagram for beautiful photos, Facebook and Youtube for my videos, and Twitter for my nonsensical words about anime. I also twitch stream 3 times a week and I work hard on my Patreon!
I love building communities. I started the anime club in high school because I wanted to be with like-minded people. Even to this day, I organize gatherings of cosplayers at conventions. I love sharing my passion and I never want anyone to feel left out. My most recent group was the Underwatch: Overwatch Lingerie gathering at Katsucon. I designed pretty lingerie for everyone to wear as their favorite characters. The photos came out so pretty! I’m really proud.

Warcraft 3 is my one true love and I will challenge anyone to a game of Super Smash Brothers Melee.
