On July 21, Kranich revealed a new legendary card “Lothar” on his Youtube channel. Lothar is a 7 mana 7/7 Warrior legendary minion. His effect is “At the end of your turn, attack a random enemy minion. If it dies, gain +3/+3. Lord Anduin Lothar is an iconic Alliance character who is considered one of the greatest warriors of all time in the Warcraft series. Kranich also confirmed that Lothar will have a diamond version of card. Image of diamond Lothar has not been uploaded yet.

Diamond cards are a new type of cards that has been introduced this year in Forged in the Barrens expansion. Diamond cards are 3D animated cards with unique designs. Only a couple of minions are chosen to be printed as diamond cards for each expansion. In Forged in the Barrens, two iconic Warcraft characters “Blademaster Samuro” and “Bru’kan” have been chosen as diamond cards. Later, a damond version of a Classic legendary “Ragnaros the Firelord” was printed after the release of Classic mode. Lothar will be the fourth diamond card to be added to Hearthstone.
