Last week, Stunlock Studios gave the Battlerite community a heads up on the next patch scheduled to drop Thursday, March 23, which will include major gameplay reworks and several tweaks to champion kits.

Patch 0.11.2.0 will drop this Thursday, bring some big changes with it. The update will include the reworked M1 abilities of several champions which SLS hinted at in an earlier Dev Blog. By decreasing the spamminess of M1 abilities and making each one more impactful, SLS plans to “improve and refine the core gameplay of Battlerite by treating M1s as more central abilities”.

The reworked M1 abilities have an associated change to movement speed, so SLS has tweaked at least one ability per champion to compensate. These changes are probably minimal adjustments designed to smooth out gameplay.

The patch will also contain updated battlerites for Ashka and Shifu, both of whom suffered from rather stale build paths.
