Ninja reacted to Ludwig breaking his record on Twitter, saying "Records are meant to be broken, I would be lying if I said wasn’t a little sad but congrats @LudwigAhgren on holding the new sub-record on twitch :Star-struck face:"

Ludwig Ahgren is now officially the most subscribed-to streamer of all time, after surpassing Tyler "Ninja" Blevin's all-time sub count record on the 31st day of his unprecedented subathon. Ludwig has now surpassed 270,000 subscribers, and he is likely to add a few thousand more before the stream ends later tonight.
"I am taking a break, I deserve a break, I streamed 30 days in a row," Ludwig said after breaking the record. "So tomorrow I am gone. But I will be back Thursday to stream with Magnus Carlson and the Botez sisters. . . but then I am back to a break Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am gone! I need a break!"
Ludwig started his subathon on March 12th around 2:00 pm. He originally only planned to go for a day or two at the most, but the stream went viral, leading to a much longer subathon than Ludwig had originally anticipated. Luckily he put a 31-day limit in case things got out of hand, which they did. The stream will end tonight at 9:00 PM, after over 750 hours of continuous broadcasting.
Tune in tonight to witness the end of Ludwig's historic subathon. The streamer is celebrating the last day of his subathon by donating $5 per subscriber he gains today to St. Judes and the Humane Society of America.
